Dublin Buster can help you find bus routes to connect two locations in Dublin, Ireland.
Dublin Buster is designed for convenient access to information relevant to traveling on Dublin Bus. You can find possible bus routes between two locations, locate bus stops near any location, view bus routes on map and access time tables.

Some bus routes are using one timetable in the same way that the Dublin Buss official timetables are on the website. You need to be careful when using the timetable of these bus routes by reading the attached route variations.

Given the relatively high price I expected a fully integrated route planner that allowed me to easily find the best connection based on street addresses for start and destination and the desired time for arrival or departure. But this app only offers a loose set of utilities that are not really linked to each other. In order to plan a route (the app calls this "directions"), I first have to select on the map a starting point and an ending point - in doing that I can alternatively use street addresses but anyway it is cumbersome. If I then search for a connection I get a list of bus and Luas lines which are said to reach the destinations. The list proved to be partly wrong in my tests (e.g. it proposed to take Luas Green line for getting from Francis St to Pearse St...). The only options you then have is to either display the bus route on the map or open the timetable starting at the current time. The app though will not give you a list of the stops on your route or at least the names of the stops where you have to get on and off the bus. It does also seem not to take into account changing the bus if this would get you to your destination faster. So, even though this app is a commercial product it is far from what you can get for other cities for free.
No idea how this App is supposed to work. There is no bus plan nor is there a dezent search mask. Just a waste of money!
